Inspired by his grandfather, Wayne Lankford, Pastor Aaron Terlecki gave his life to Christ at the age of seven. After graduating from DCHS in 1989, Pastor Terlecki began his college studies, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biblical Studies. Shortly thereafter, feeling God’s call on his life to teach and preach God’s Word, he changed his major to Biblical Studies. He graduated from Union University in 1993 and is currently pursuing his Masters Degree from Liberty University.
Pastor Terlecki married his wife, Lori, in 1994. In their twenty plus years of marriage, Brother Aaron and his wife have been blessed with six children: Josiah, Abby, Grace, Callie, Enoch and Lillie. Their oldest son, Josiah, graduated from DCHS and completed his first mission trip in the summer of 2014. His oldest daughter, Abby, graduated from DCHS in 2015 and is preparing for college where she plans to major in Education.
Prior to the merger of Hillcrest and Burns Baptist Churches in May 2015, A.T. pastored Hillcrest Baptist Church for ten years. Before that he was the Youth Minister & Associate Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Dickson, Tn for twelve years.
